  • Restorative Justice in Canada
    • Our Vision is a society where all citizens are engaged in building safe and healthy families, workplaces and communities. We need people who share our vision to help bring about lasting change.
    • For almost 20 years Conflict Resolution Network Canada has helped people find constructive ways through conflict by encouraging the use of peaceful processes in everyday life. CR Network Canada develops, promotes and extends the use of conflict resolution and restorative justice processes such as negotiation, mediation, consensus-building and peacemaking circles. In this work, we have seen first hand how the hurt, despair and violence of conflict can be transformed into healthier relationships, organizations and communities.

  • St. Ethelburga's Center (London)
    • In 1993, a bomb exploded in Bishopsgate partially destroying the small medieval church of St. Ethelburga. Due to the generosity of many organizations the Church has been rebuilt. It stands as an important symbol of hope in the heart of the city and houses the Centre for Reconciliation and Peace, which is a venue for dialogue between groups in conflict both at home and from overseas. It helps analyze the role of religions in international affairs and seeks to further the contribution that faith communities can make to preventing deadly conflict. It is a living memorial to the men and women who have dedicated their lives to the pursuit of peace.

      • Shared Peace Heritage Archive
      • Conflict Resolution Education Clearinghouse
      • Historic Peace Archive

  • Tanenbaum Center
    • The Tanenbaum Center builds interreligious understanding and thereby defuses the verbal and physical violence done in the name of religion. To that end, we create practical programs that enhance everyday lives.
    • In 1992, the Tanenbaum Center was established to carry on the work of Rabbi Marc H. Tanenbaum, a world-renowned pioneer in interreligious understanding, and a prominent activist on behalf of social justice and human rights. Today, the organization that bears his name continues his work - using the tools he honed to address the theological roots of prejudice and to encourage religious beliefs that build mutual respect. The Tanenbaum Center also builds on his work by using new tools that create interreligious understanding among children, help work-places operate in ways that recognize religious differences, and inspire religiously motivated peacemakers.
    • Our work has always been important. But since 9/11, it is even more important. September 11th brought religiously-inspired terrorism to our land. Worldwide, there are more than fifty conflicts that are based in part on religion. Addressing these realities is our work.
