Master of
Science in Negotiation and Dispute Resolution. The Werner Institute, the most richly endowed program of its kind in the U.S.,
offers an interdisciplinary program leading to master's degrees and graduate
certificates in negotiation and dispute resolution for students from a variety
of fields as well as mid-career professionals. Located at prestigious
Creighton University, a Jesuit institution consistently ranked as the
Midwest's top Master's degree granting university by US News, the graduate
program offers career-oriented concentrations in specific areas, including
organizational/transactional, healthcare, and international conflict
resolution.
The masters degree requires the completion of at least 32 credit hours
(course requirements). Students must complete a capstone course of
independent, experiential work involving a practicum or a major piece of
research.
Students can
concentrate in one of three selected substantive areas:

Organizational/Transactional Negotiation and Dispute Resolution

Health Care Collaboration and Dispute Resolution

International Negotiations and Conflict Resolution.
The Certificate program requires all foundational and skill/processes
courses from the master's except Systems, Facilitation and Conflict
Resolution, for a total of 16 credits).
