Peace and Justice Studies

MA Peace and Justice Studies.  Most M.A. degrees in peace studies focus on international relations. USD does this too, but also builds on philosophy, religious studies, and ethics. As a Catholic university, USD can build on over a century of experience with the tradition of Roman Catholic social teaching. We also integrate the computer-based approach of geographic information systems (GIS) into the Program so students will have up-to-date skills in analyzing demographic and geographic information in relation to conflict resolution, the environment, refugee movements, and urbanization.
